Som noget ny planlægger vi en kursusrejse til Garstang i England.
Kursusrejsen finder sted den 11.-14. juni 2025.
Dette to-dages kursus fokuserer på aftagelige proteser (RPD, ID og IOD) gennem demonstrationer og praktiske øvelser ledet af Finlay Sutton.
Deltagerne lærer avancerede teknikker inden for aftrykstagning, kæberegistrering og æstetisk design samt en skandinavisk systemtilgang til delproteser, der beskytter abutmenttænder og tillader fremtidige justeringer.
Kurset er praktisk orienteret, illustreret med fotos og videoer, og henvender sig til både tandlæger og teknikere. Læringsmål inkluderer forbedret stabilitet, æstetik og funktion for proteser samt optimerede patientresultater.
Finlay deler sin erfaring fra 30 års praksis med at skabe smukke og velfungerende proteser i samarbejde med tekniker Rowan Garstang

Beskrivelse af det fulde program:
- Partial dentures (RPDs) with live patient with Finlay demonstrating impression taking, jaw registration and fitting RPDs
- Immediate partial dentures (ID)
- Implant supported dentures (IOD)
- Hands on - impression taking for delegates on each other using Finlay’s 2 part alginate systems
Learning outcomes:
- State-of-the-art RPDs, IDs and IODs
- To learn that well designed and well-made RPDs are a valid alternative to implant supported restorations.
- To learn the biologically healthy Scandinavian design system for partial dentures
- To see the construction methods and function of partial dentures which work like removable bridges, protecting the periodontium of compromised abutment teeth
- To learn a system of partial denture design which anticipates future abutment failure allowing artificial tooth additions onto cobalt chromium minor connectors of the denture later.
- To learn superb impression techniques
- To see in action the accurate recording of centric relation with gothic arch tracing.
- Learn how to maximise denture retention and stability
- Have improved ability to make dentures look like beautiful natural teeth
- Learn how to make dentures fit implants and the supporting soft tissues properly
- Have improved understanding of metal reinforcement to strengthen the dentures
- Making immediate dentures as stable, comfortable and secure as possible
- Will be extremely useful for implant dentists who produce fixed restorations to assist in getting the teeth in the “right place” aesthetically.
- Correct preparation of the models for immediates
- Taking superb impressions even with mobile teeth and bridges for immediates
- Planning cases carefully to achieve optimum aesthetics and function of immediate dentures
